yore

Lucretius looked back
on the plays of Aeschylus
like we'd read Shakespeare

incompleteness

Lucretius concedes
pure materialism
stumbles over mind

regress

gone without a trace
Lucretius to Spinoza
half a world went dark

dark ages

like Day One's Great Light
hidden for the Tzaddikim
Lucretius' lore

atomist

a chemist's poet
Lucretius perceived atoms
where others saw gods
